How to get a summer body
Every year around this time, the internet starts stressing me out.
summer shred.
summer abs.
summer reset.
8 weeks to a summer body.
lose the weight.
earn the swimsuit.
be smaller by June.
And honestly?
Boo.
Not because wanting to feel strong, energized, leaner, hotter, more confident, more alive in your body is wrong. That’s human. That’s beautiful. Goals are not the problem.
The problem is how disconnected we’ve become from the actual foundation that helps people feel good in their bodies in the first place.
Intensity before regulation.
Restriction before nourishment.
Tracking before trust.
Aesthetic obsession before actual aliveness.
Because somewhere along the way, wellness became more information, less intuition. Having somewhere to turn & someone you trust who is an expert in their field is absolutely important - AND ALSO - someone/something that points you back to yourself.
Only you can know how your life and your body feels, and it’s gotta be you to check in honestly. About the little (big) things:
Sleeping deeply.
Eating enough.
Laughing hard.
Moving consistently.
Stress not running the entire show.
Spending time outside.
Practicing nervous system regulation and safety.
Skipping straight to intensity without rhythm, nourishment, joy, and presence…
misses the whole point.
It skips the foundation.
Magnetism gets blocked by the obsessing and restricting.
It’s unleashed when we participate fully in life with a perspective of choice — what a gift to choose to move. To strength train because it makes you feel powerful. Practice yoga because it moves your energy, meditate because it clears your mind, cook at home because so much vibrant produce is in season - NOT because someone told you to, out of punishment, or out of comparison.
The energy of that perspective changes you.
Not for a moment.
Not for a season.
But for as long as you choose it.
And ironically?
That’s usually when people begin looking the way they’ve always wanted to feel.
Not because they tortured themselves into becoming “worthy,” but because they started supporting themselves instead.
So, at Wild Grace Wellness, there is no “summer body” program.
This is practicing the art of loving your life, and writing you own creative process in that.
This is sweating out every ounce of bullshit that taught you you weren’t enough. Creating a life your body can actually thrive inside of.
This is embodying the essence of summer:
playful.
grounded.
bright.
hot.
fluid.
alive.
And from there?
Your strongest, clearest, most radiant self inevitably begins to emerge — however that may manifest aesthetically.
That’s what Summer State of Being is about.
Join us! You can start anytime, but it is 12 weeks worth of yoga, strength, meditation, and recipes for the summer. Available as a seasonal package (one-time-purchase), or included with your monthly membership.
