That full moon feeling
The May “flower moon” got me thinking - “abundance, manifestation, letting go, clearing space, stepping into your power…” it all sounds so nice, but what can one actually do to feel an impact in their lives? Here’s my full moon ritual round up to help you align with the force of the moon in a way that makes an impact you can really feel.
Each full moon presents a slightly different theme based on what Zodiac and season we’re in. June’s “Strawberry Moon” will light up the sky on June 11th, 2025, and call us toward our power and worth. Achieving your dreams takes hard work, but believe that you’re worth it, love yourself enough to struggle sometimes, and move in the direction of your dreams - one day at a time.
You can use this practice each month. Look up the theme of the full moon that is occurring, and use these prompts and activities to create a ritual around that theme.

What is the feeling behind something that you want right now (happy, confident, seen, loved, etc.). When setting goals, I think it’s important to look deeper. Is it really a “thing” that we want (money, car, relationship, cosmetics, etc.), or the feeling behind the thing. Get specific on this feeling and why it’s important to you. How does your life change when you attain this feeling? The answer you come up with - that’s your “why.” Why you keep moving, working hard, and practicing.
Can you think of something that has given you this feeling?
What are the qualities of the type of person in your higher vision? WHO IS THE YOU of your dreams? Write out those qualities…honesty, joy, energy, kind, etc., and start being them today.
What stories or loops do you find yourself falling into that aren’t true? Rewrite the story.
Be outside |
If possible, literally go feel the moonlight and energy, creating a direct channel between you and the moon. Say a prayer, a mantra, a manifestation.
Embody the vision |
Do one thing, or spend a whole evening if you have the time, cleansing your body, mind, energy, and space to make room for what’s to come. The hardest part about starting, is starting. What if, literally under the energy of the full moon, you made one small, positive change that you’ve been wanting to make. Get the good vibes rolling during this magnetic time. Here are some ideas:
take a walk instead of scrolling social media
cook with you favorite songs on
read instead of netflix
stretch
write out or say aloud what you’re grateful for
Spend the evening taking care of yourself in the way your future self would look back and thank you. Your life can change in big ways from small consistent habits. Share this ritual with friends or a partner, or enjoy solo, make it fun! Cooking your favorite meal or even a little something small that puts into action the good things you’re inviting in for yourself. What can you do, literally under the full moon, to cleanse your energy, your mind, and your space to make room for what’s to come.
